If eligible, you’ll be referred to a consultant specialist clinician – accessed remotely via our partnership with an accredited clinic – for full clinical assessment and, if appropriate, prescribing.

Yes, you can usually drive while taking prescribed medical cannabis but only if you are not impaired. Being prescribed medical cannabis is not, by itself, permission to drive if your ability to do so is affected. There are important legal and safety points to understand, and we cover these in detail as part of your consultation.
Possibly, even when taking your medicine exactly as prescribed – the legal THC limit is set very low. A positive test shows THC is present; it does not on its own prove impairment. We’ll talk you through what this means for you, and what to do if you’re ever stopped, during your consultation.
